The boundaries of the neighborhood include the Hillsborough Bay to the east Kennedy Boulevard to the north, picturesque Bayshore Boulevard to the east and south, and Howard Avenue to the west. A walkable lifestyle allows you to leave your car in the garage. The annual Gasparilla Events along Bayshore Boulevard bordering Hyde Park started over 100 years ago and include a Children’s & Adult Parade along with a run (http://www.gasparillapiratefest.com/).In addition to the Village, SoHo entertainment district (South Howard Avenue) borders the neighborhood to the West. Many of the area’s top-rated bars, nightclubs, boutiques and restaurants are in this district. It begins at Howard Avenue south of Kennedy Boulevard and ends at Bayshore Boulevard.
